We've been working on our shoulders this month - the complicated joint that causes problems for many - easing the connective tissue around the area and helping to relieve tension... finishing of course with a shoulder assist to aid Savasana ...

Wednesdays - 9.30am
We take a Balasana or Pose of the the child between left and right sides ... you can open you knees and let your heart sink towards the earth, feeling a stretch in the pelvis, or you can close your knees and round your back over your legs giving your spine a lovely supported stretch.
I'm forever grateful to my fabulous students for their support, and we are loving our coffee and catch up afterwards, continuing to build our Yoga community! πŸ™

Yoga at The Wheatsheaf, Old Bath Road

Tuesdays at 6pm
Wednesdays at 9.30am

Suitable for all, taking time with breath to settle onto the mat, and a gentle warm up. The focus will be on breath, taking in a slow flow, a few strong holds and some long stretches and twists along the way - these are slower classes working on strength of muscles (and bone density) and the stretch and release of connective tissue - the fascia. We finish with a long Yin pose and final relaxation/Savasana.

Class runs for an hour (ish) - bring a mat and any props you like to use - include a blanket if you like to wrap up for relaxation!

The cost is Β£10 per class and your 5th class is free. There's no deadline to take the 4 classes, and there's no cancellation deadline, your payment will roll over to the next time.

Wednesdays finish with a coffee and catch up (in the pub next door!) - everyone welcome!
