Can you help?
We’re supporting Miriam, a final-year Occupational Therapy student at the University of Gloucestershire, who is completing her research project in collaboration with Astor Bannerman.
Miriam is looking to speak with families of children with physical disabilities to better understand lived experiences around personal care at home (such as bathing) and participation in school (including changing, toileting and personal care).
This research aims to help inform how occupational therapists and equipment designers can better support children, families and schools in meaningful, practical ways.
Participation is entirely voluntary, confidential and ethically approved.
If you would be happy to take part — or know someone who may be interested, please email miriam.cowling@astorbannerman.co.uk
Thank you for helping ensure lived experience shapes future support 💙
