We’re focusing on Jenson and his wonderful family today. Jenson has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and his parents work tirelessly to ensure he can enjoy life to the fullest.

From raising funds for his therapy, to making the impossible possible - like helping Jenson reach the summit of Pen Y Fan mountain where he declared “I’m on the top of the world!” - their love and determination shine through everything they do.

Clearing Things Up: DFG Facts for Families

If you’re planning a bathroom adaptation for a disabled child, adult family member or yourself, a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) could help cover the cost - and you might be entitled to more than you think.

But there are a lot of myths out there. So let’s clear a few things up 👇

❌ “You have to own your home to apply.”
✅ Not true - you can apply if you rent, live in a housing association property, or even on a houseboat!

❌ “You don’t get to choose what’s installed.”
✅ You can absolutely be involved in choosing the right equipment for your needs.

❌ “You can only apply once.”
✅ If your needs change you can apply again after a year.

Changing Places Australia | Geelong Yacht Club.

A huge well done to CHS Healthcare for delivering another fantastic Changing Places facility – this time at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club in Victoria.

Part of the wider Geelong Waterfront Safe Harbour Precinct Project, this facility improves access for people with complex disabilities visiting the waterfront and attending world-class sailing events.

We’re proud to have supported CHS with equipment for this project, including our CTE3-CP height-adjustable changing table.

CHS continues to lead the way in Australia, raising the bar for inclusive public spaces — and we’re thrilled to see their impact growing down under.
