Person Centred Care is an established in-home care company (also referred to as Domiciliary Care), providing our services throughout Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cotswolds and extended Gloucestershire. At Person Centred Care we place the needs of our clients as the focus of our service, rather than fitting the individual into standard care servi

ces. As health care providers we make sure that our care services are designed to the individual, and by doing this we ensure that care plans meet the client’s own needs. Our belief is that people using care services should be equal partners in planning, developing, and monitoring care to make sure it always meets their needs. This means putting people and their families, at the centre of decisions and seeing them as experts, working alongside the professionals to get the right care service plan. It is about considering people’s desires, values, family situations, social circumstances, and lifestyles; seeing the person as an individual and working together to develop the appropriate services, support and solutions. To be able to provide the right care service and support our clients need, we think about the effect of the care plan on the person as a whole. This means that we always have our client’s safety, comfort and well-being uppermost in our minds. We are always aware of their emotional well-being, at the same time reflecting their beliefs, values, relationships and need for self-expression within their own care plan. By putting people at the centre of their care we improve the quality of services available. We provide our clients the care they need, when they need it, helping them to be more active in looking after themselves and reduce the pressure on families and other services. While developing the right care plan for our client’s well-being, we also help them and their families by combining bespoke care services with additional support services.

At Person Centred Care, we truly value our team. While many companies offer just 25p per mile or sneakily include mileage in your salary (a con to make it look like a higher salary and you get taxed on it), we proudly provide a generous 45p per mile, tax-free!
We also believe in rewarding your hard work. Many care companies don’t offer increased pay on weekends or bank holidays—this is not the case with us! We boost your pay on weekends and pay £20 per hour, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays of bank holidays! Who else does that?

The Role
As a home care worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, tailored to their unique needs. Your responsibilities may include:
• Offering companionship
• Assisting with personal care
• Managing medication
• Helping with meal preparation
• Performing light domestic tasks
We encourage our home care workers to build meaningful relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their desires and needs. By doing so, you’ll empower our clients to achieve what they may not be able to do alone, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
Basic Requirements
• Driving license and access to your own vehicle
• Relevant experience in the care industry
