POV: client comes in knowing exactly what they want.

And I get it.
Because most people have already done the ‘research’
seen the ‘trends’
or had something ‘done’ before.

isn’t always what your face needs.

That’s why I can’t work from requests.
I simply HAVE to work from assessment.

Full-face.

INTENTIONAL.

Sometimes that means doing less.
Sometimes it means something different.

Trend by trend.

That’s how people end up with results that don’t quite make sense.

Not always because the treatment was wrong.
But because there was never a plan behind it.

I don’t work like that.

Everything I do starts with understanding your face.

Because when that’s right… everything else follows.

Simply put….
Nothing else works.

This client needed her skin AND her face understood.

One without the other is like Batman without Robin…..all seems well to start; until the sh*t really does hit the fan.

Because age doesn’t just show up in lines.
Skin changes first,
Quality shifts,
Hydration ⬇️
Elasticity softens.

An injector at this stage can treat structure till their little heart is content;
but it will never fix the problem and give the client the results they most long for 🤷🏽‍♀️

So that’s is NOT how I approach it
1. It starts with skin
Restoring quality
2.Then and ONLY then do we move on.

This is why my clinic starts with assessment.
Because in medicine;
right time, right treatment & right clinician

One size never fits all
However one assessment led approach does.

I’m an assessment led clinician👩🏽‍⚕️

The client thought she needed under eye filler;
She didn’t.
It was about correcting the imbalance.

What they’re seeing is usually part of a bigger shift —
structure, support and proportion changing over time. All perfectly normal part of the ageing process.

Treating one area without understanding the full picture can often be where balance starts to be lost.

Once an assessment was completed the client understood her options; only then could a collaborative plan be formed.

So….
No I didn’t follow the request.

I assessed the face.
Then built a plan that the client understood would achieve her goals clinically.

Subtle changes.
A face that feels back in sync.

in the right places; with a plan.

“Just a little” sounds safe.
But it’s often where things start to go wrong over time.

And yes -
some faces do need small amounts.
Some areas can -
be treated in isolation.

But one size never fits all…..

Because yes
I said it.
And……
I’ll say it again.

“Just a little” is what happens when there’s no plan.

Not in one appointment but sneakily over time.
Small amounts,
Different areas,
No clear direction.

And because it’s gradual it “feels safe”.
