Its Cervical Screening awareness week, 1 in 3 do not attend there smear appointment. You will usually be recalled directly from NHS England. Once you have received your letter please give us a call to arrange our next available cervical screening appointment with our practice nurse. 📢 Important Notice: Blood Test Disruption: 12 May - 25 May

Due to industrial action by phlebotomists (staff who take blood samples), there will be no routine blood tests in some outpatient areas this coming week and next week.

🚫 No routine blood tests will take place at: West Block Outpatients, Cheltenham General Hospital; Gloucester Quayside Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC); Edward Jenner Unit, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

Some exceptions apply, please see our website for details: 👉 www.gloshospitals.nhs.uk/industrial-action

If your clinic needs a blood sample, we’ll either:
✔️ Take it during your appointment,
🔁 Or book you back in after the strike.
You can also walk in for a test after the action ends.

💉 Emergency and urgent care services will continue taking bloods as normal.

Today marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day – Victory in Europe Day.
On May 8, 1945, the world celebrated the end of WWII in Europe. We remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all who served, fought, and lived through one of history’s most challenging times.

80 years on, we honour the heroes.
We remember. We thank you.
