Last Friday, we hosted a wonderful Coffee Morning in support of Mental Health Awareness Week, raising an amazing £245 for our friends at The Willow Trust!

The Willow Trust provides life-enhancing canal boat experiences for vulnerable people and those with disabilities, including the upcoming therapeutic boat trip on the Gloucester Sharpness Canal this July, that many of us are looking forward to.

Yesterday, we hosted our Heart to Heart cafè, as part of , where we laughed as much as we listened.

We had the privilege of spending time with some of our wonderful residents including Graham, Colin and Rita here 😊 chatting all things life, love, the rapid evolutions in technology(!) and what brings them joy now.

We learned from Graham & Colin that twice the fun really is the way of life and were amazed to hear they broke a world record for the highest number of identical twins photographed together in London years ago (357!)

Yesterday, our community came together in true wartime spirit to celebrate VE Day with a wonderful street party on the restaurant terrace. Residents and staff enjoyed sunshine, smiles and singalong favourites from our talented guest singer. 🎶

It was a joyful afternoon filled with laughter, music, and reflection. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. ❤️
