A wonderful morning discovering the magic of River Cruising! ✨

On Wednesday, residents and guests enjoyed a relaxed morning exploring the fabulous world of river cruising.

We were delighted to welcome Sarah and Stacey, Personal Travel Consultants from The Holiday Village, who shared her expert knowledge, first-hand stories and behind-the-scenes insight from some of Europe’s most breathtaking rivers.

From picturesque landscapes and historic towns to life on board, complete with regional cuisine and authentic cultural experiences, Sarah painted a vivid picture of what makes river cruising such a special way to travel. 🚢

Last week, residents enjoyed an insightful talk from Paul, who shared the remarkable story of Clementine Churchill, the devoted and influential wife of Winston Churchill.

Paul explored her life and the pivotal role she played behind the scenes throughout some of Britain’s most challenging moments.

On Sunday, residents and the team at Richmond Villages Cheltenham celebrated Burns Night with a delicious themed lunch, complete with traditional haggis and a live bagpipe player to set the atmosphere.

It was a wonderful afternoon of Scottish culture as we honoured the life and legacy of Robert Burns. 🕯️🎻
