Are you looking for a space to run groups from? We have a great group room at Kingsley House that comfortably fits 10 people, plus the organiser.

We use it for creative activities and training, but there are lots of times in the week and at weekends where it could be used by other groups.

The tables fold up, so the room can easily be used is a variety of ways.

The tv screen on the wall is for connecting your laptop to show presentations or an Alexa speaker for music is also available.

There are spaces for storage if you run a regular group and want to keep items there.

We have parking onsite and in the residential streets around us, and are on the popular no10 bus route through Cheltenham and Gloucester. Kingsley House is situated just off Shurdington Rd, it is a very old and charming building, and all us using it are working therapeutically, so it holds great energy for opening up opportunities for people.

Our hire fee for any group space is £13 per hour and we invoice monthly. If you use any of our spaces (we have 10 rooms in Kingsley House and a studio with a therapy space in Stroud) for more than 4 hours a month, we will also put your business activity on our website.

We have 4 spaces let for our vision workshop on Sunday. It’s great way to focus or find your pathway into the year ahead and workout your future plans. Perfect time to manifest, bring forward self care and enjoyment.

A mixture of craft, creativity and motivation, and a bit of sound meditation. This workshop will help your next chapter open up, both personally and professionally come to life ✨

A creative and therapeutic day workshop where you will be guided through a 2026 vision board workshop. Using both visualisation practice and creative process to create your own unique 2026 board.

Essential Space’s founder has started running craft workshops and courses from our group spaces. They are all on the ground floor and will be smaller groups of up to 10 people per class.

Pottery for beginners is starting in February. Held at our Kingsley House venue which is just off Shurdington Rd, in between Cheltenham and Gloucester. Parking is available and all materials will be included! You can book directly with SJ on the website link below.

Pottery Beginners Hand Building Class, 10 weeks. 1-1 Pottery and small groups. Creative retreat days that include a creative activity, mindfulness and a sound bath. Counselling and Therapeutic Training Courses, all held in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Carly will be offering support to young people and children (Butterfly Dreams Play Therapy)
From Essential Space at Kingsley House soon! We are very excited to share our space with Carly and be able to refer our young clients her way if needed.

I am now taking new referrals for one to one play therapy sessions!

Sessions will start in January 2026 and will take place in my new play therapy room at Essential Space CIC, ideally located between Gloucester and Cheltenham!
