🌟 Apprentice of the Month – December 🌟

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Kelly, one of our wonderful Health Care Support Workers here at Whittington House, who has been named Apprentice of the Month 👏

Kelly is currently completing her Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship, and her dedication really shines through in everything she does. Her tutor has praised her enthusiasm for learning, positive attitude in masterclasses, and the compassionate, person-centred care she provides to our residents every day.

Kelly’s friendly, bubbly nature and excellent communication skills make such a difference around the home, she’s clearly well-loved by residents and a valued member of our team.

Well done, Kelly! We’re so proud to support you on your learning journey and can’t wait to see you continue to grow 💜

We were so grateful to Naomi Dunelm Cheltenham for including us in the ‘Delivering Joy at Christmas’ scheme, and so overwhelmed by the generosity of those who donated gifts to our residents.

The gifts were all so thoughtful and chosen with so much care. Each resident received a personal gift and it made their Christmas so special. Seeing their faces on Christmas Day was magical ✨

We made gingerbread, had various talented performers and made some beautiful handmade cards.

Just before Christmas residents and staff donned their sparkliest and poshest party outfits for our Glitz and Glamour party, where we enjoyed games, karaoke and a buffet, before prizes were awarded for Best Dressed and Best Singer ✨
