✨️ It's our weekly and monthly roundup for Public Hearts Defib community impact , and it's another impactful week

⚡️This week's rolling 12 month figures are
68% of our defibs have been accessed a total of 230 times

♒️ A relatively quiet week in terms of defib access, several taken on scene nonetheless and all safely back....

🙌 As is No 54! Our story reached as far as Denver, Colorado and today's video features what is possibly the UK's first ever HeartHero, Inc. 'Elliot' defibrillator with 21st century technology and packed with innovative features and benefits.

Thanks to the generosity and collaboration of Paige Brown Gary Montague ⚡️ James Russell and all the team at - it's already rescue ready and in the cabinet at Fioro Lounge 252 Bath Road GL53 7NB

🏆making Team , Inc. this week's and months Public Hearts Defib Innovators and Leaders of the Month - such a warm welcome to Public Hearts Defib Family 💚

🫶 Our community champion goes to Lewis Whitter Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue for his community work and project with bleed kits.
We are proud to support Lewis and this initiative, bringing our experience and existing infrastructure into action

💚 PUBLIC HEARTS DEFIB NO 54 IS BACK ✨️

We are delighted to share that after nearly six weeks , the defib has been located by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you to everybody who got involved with the campaign to help locate the defib search including the BBC Gloucestershire particularly Nicky Price and Maisie Fioro Lounge The Raikes Journal Councillor Jackie Chelin - Park Ward Cheltenham noticeboard and the wider Cheltenham community

This AEDPLUS will be keeping me company in the office and we are delighted to be able to install a brand new, state of the art HeartHero defib in our Defib Store Ltd very soon!

Our Community Outreach team, together with One Gloucestershire Health & Wellbeing Partnership, are supporting the Blood Pressure UK campaign ‘Know Your Numbers’, in a bid to reduce heart attacks and stroke.

The team are out and about offering simple health checks at community venues across Gloucestershire, providing people with the opportunity to have a chat about how they might make positive improvements to their health and wellbeing, discuss any concerns they may have about their health and get a free blood pressure check.

⚡️Defib No 8️⃣5️⃣ Toby at East Glos Club, Cheltenham — Tennis, padel, squash, racketball is this week's Community Legend for using his Tidal Training Ltd First Aid skills , knowledge and confidence when moments matter as a vital part of the chain of survival.
Toby's quick thinking and action was instrumental in the successful use of an CU Medical Systems, Inc. IPAD SP1
We all wish the family our very best and a successful recovery

🏆This week's community champion goes to the kind people at Abbey Business Interiors for the donation of this HeartSine Technologies 300 Samaritan - and perfect timing as we're working on a collaboration with a well known and much needed humanitarian charity - more news to follow.

🏨First Aid Training starts with. ..

Infection control

The first aspect of any safety environment is infection control

📋In the classroom , this includes our first aid training kit, particularly the manikins we use for CPR and defib practicals.

Whilst rescue breaths are optional, when delivering we always use face shields on manikins with a one use only policy.

🥼Manikins are cleaned down with sterile wipes after every use , and here we are changing the lungs.

Now the manikins, trainer and learners at the ready!

Because safety matters , and that starts with getting the basics right ✅️

Welcome to 2026 in the first of Tidal's long-running and very popular open course in Level 3 Awards in Emergency First Aid at Work aid at work training day.

We have run this open course on the 3rd Wednesday of each month since 2017 and it's a pleasure to give everybody the opportunity to learn fit for purpose and practical first aid skills, and critically the confidence to act

We're delighted to be at MX teaching in this amazing space, which is home to Public Hearts Defib No 💯

🆘️Public Hearts Defib No 85 at East Glos Club was used successfully on saturday evening 17 January to assist an individual in cardiac arrest.The defib was quickly taken to the scene by one of the restaurant staff.

⚡️The defib an IPAD SP1 C U MEDICAL Systems defibrillator delivered a shock to the individual and was further supported by Southwest Ambulance Service.

🚑The patient was taken to hospital for further care. We wish him a successful recovery.

👍 Well done to the East Glos Team quick thinking , action and support - all of which are vital in the event of a medical emergency , and particularly in a cardiac arrest when moments matter.

Defibs Save Lives and this is exactly why our not for profit and voluntary community defibrillator campaign was created 💚
