As a reminder, we’ve recently welcomed Isla to the team, and she starts taking bookings from Monday! If you’ve been thinking about getting a session in, this is the perfect time to book with her and see what she can do for you.

To help you choose the right fit, we’ve introduced new therapist tiers 💪🏼 here’s what each one means for you:

✨ Core Therapist – Perfect if you’re after a solid, no-nonsense massage to ease those tight muscles, loosen things up, and help you feel more comfortable day-to-day. It’s a great entry point if you just want to stay on top of your general recovery.

✨ Advanced Therapist – Here’s where things step up a notch. With extra training and more techniques under their belt, our Advanced Therapists can help with injury niggles, manage recovery plans, and tailor treatments more closely to your sport or lifestyle.

✨ Principal Therapist – With years of hands-on experience and specialist knowledge, this is the most comprehensive option we offer. It’s not just about treatment; it’s about strategy, bigger-picture performance, and ongoing support to keep you at your best.

Right now, there’s one therapist in each tier, but let’s just say it probably won’t stay that way for long. The worst kept secret is that big things are on the horizon, and as I always say, we’re only getting started 🚀

🥴 Day 2 Post- Half Marathon DOMS… they're here.

If you ran the Cheltenham Half Marathon on Sunday, today’s probably the hardest day. Those stairs feel steeper, quads are tight, and everything’s just a little heavier. That’s DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) at its peak — and it can make recovery feel like another endurance event.

👋 Welcome to the Team, Isla!

We’re excited to announce that Isla will be joining the COA Performance team from next Monday, working with us on Mondays and Thursdays.

Isla has always had a strong passion for recovery and performance, shaped by her own journey through competitive dance and experiencing injuries along the way. This drive led her to complete her Level 4 Sports Massage qualification while studying Sports and Exercise Science at Hartpury University.

She’s already gained experience shadowing a local football physiotherapy team and brings a fantastic blend of practical skills and an athlete-focused approach. Isla is particularly passionate about injury prevention as well as treatment, and she places a big emphasis on educating athletes so they can reduce risks and maintain peak performance.

Outside of work, Isla has enjoyed a variety of sports including netball, hockey, and swimming, but her true passion is dance. She spent 8 years as a competitive ‘Disco Fast Freestyle’ dancer and still enjoys attending dance classes today.

We can’t wait for you to meet Isla and have her as part of your recovery journey here at COA! 🙌
