Did you see our cover girls, Jenny and Kath with our very special visitors in this week’s Echo! 🦙✨

We were delighted to welcome Storm and Smokey from Cotswold Vale Alpacas to Wentworth Court for a very special visit. At just 10 months old, it was their very first trip to a care home, and they couldn’t have been better behaved!

Our residents loved every moment, from gently stroking their super-soft coats to feeding them and asking lots of curious questions. The atrium was full of smiles, laughter and lovely conversation as everyone, staff and residents, gathered to meet our fluffy guests.🤗

For some, the visit even brought back fond memories of life on the farm. Moments like these are what it’s all about 😁Thank you, Storm and Smokey... come and see us again soon 💫

What a truly wonderful afternoon we had earlier this week, celebrating Alan and Charlie’s wedding anniversary! 🎉💕

At Wentworth Court, it really feels like being part of a family, sharing in life’s special moments together, surrounded by laughter, warmth, and friendship. 🥰And of course, no celebration would be complete without the most beautiful (and delicious!) cake! 🎂✨Thank you, Manuela!! 😋

Some days, all you need is to feel the sunlight on your face and the gentle warmth of its rays - a quiet reminder that Spring has arrived🌞

For our lovely ladies, sitting together and simply enjoying this moment was just perfect🥰

Spending time outside is so important for wellbeing and does wonders for the soul. We're already looking forward to slow, sunny days in our beautiful gardens 🌳🌻🪻

Sometimes it's the smallest pleasures that bring the most joy ☺️ Which was certainly the feeling with our recent gentlemen's outing to the local pub!

Being surrounded by the atmosphere, the smells and that wonderful banter as you order your own pint is one of the most wonderful experiences we can give to some of our residents 🍻😁 It unlocks such powerful memories of a life lived well and we'll always take so much personal happiness from being part of these moments ✨

It’s always such a wonderful day to share the celebrations and when there’s a delicious homemade cake in a favourite flavour… it’s even better 😋🎂

We’re starting the week with a joyful look back at all the special moments from the past few days here at Wentworth Court 🤩

It was such a heart-warming celebration as we marked Malcolm’s birthday!🥳 Filled with emotion, he received a beautiful homemade cake from Manuela, our Head Chef, a birthday card from everyone, and so much birthday love all around him 🎂🥰

With Spring well and truly in the air, we made the most of the sunshine and treated some of our lovely ladies to coffee and cake at a local café ☕🍰

We rounded off the week in the best way with our ‘Keep Fit Friday’ class! Movement, no matter how small, is so important and even more enjoyable when shared with friends in our upstairs lounge and cinema room ⚽✨

Keep your eyes peeled for our gentlemen’s visit to the local pub… 🍻
