Corporate Massage Day

Yesterday was a pleasure to work with a first-time corporate client in Liverpool, where the employer organised a dedicated wellbeing day including therapy dogs 🐾 and chair massages 💆‍♀️ — such a thoughtful way to support their team.

Throughout the day, I treated 12 employees to their much-needed 10-minute chair massage sessions, giving them a chance to pause, reset, and release tension during a busy workday.

🌞Yesterday’s corporate massage day in Manchester started with the most beautiful blue sky ☀️

I arrived early by train
💚🌎🚉🚆🛤

☕️🧾📑Managed a bit of admin, and even squeezed in some much-needed self-care time at my favourite cafe before the busy day began

💝It was lovely to return to one of my regular corporate clients after a few months — so nice to see familiar faces again and also meet new colleagues.

Throughout the day I treated 18 people to their well-deserved 15-minute chair massage sessions, bringing a little pause and reset into a busy working day.

Chew’s Yard is dog-friendly and family-friendly. Children are welcome with an accompanying adult until 8pm.

Blue Monday?
I took the dog for a walk anyway.
Grey sky. Cold air. Heavy thoughts.
No motivation. No big plan. Just… shoes on, lead in hand.
And then something shifted.
My dog didn’t care that it was “the most depressing day of the year.”
She stopped to sniff.
She wagged.
She looked at me like this moment is enough.
Step by step, my shoulders dropped.
My breath slowed.
The noise in my head softened.
