13 employees. 20 minutes each. One noticeably calmer office.

That was yesterday's corporate massage day in Manchester.

Following my self-care Federal Cafe & Bar stop, I headed to the office.

In just a few hours, 13 team members stepped away from their desks for a short chair massage reset — releasing neck and shoulder tension from long hours at the computer and returning to work feeling lighter, clearer and more focused.

Small wellbeing interventions like this can make a big difference to:

• employee stress levels
• posture and muscle tension
• focus and productivity
• overall workplace morale

Sustainability is also a big part of how I run my business.

Yesterday alone I avoided 26 single-use items by using washable face cradle covers and reusable cloths with eco-friendly antibacterial spray instead of disposable wipes.

I also use antibacterial hand gel refilled into a reusable glass bottle, sourced from Lancashire-based refill shops, helping reduce plastic waste while supporting small sustainable businesses.

And to reduce my carbon footprint further, I travelled to Manchester by public transport, using the journey productively rather than sitting in traffic. It's a win-win.

Because workplace wellbeing and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.

🌸Happy International Women’s Day 🌸

Every day through my massage and wellbeing work, I meet incredible women who give so much of themselves — to their families, their work, their communities, and everyone around them. Often carrying stress, tension, and responsibilities quietly on their shoulders.

My BE . NU symbol is inspired by the ancient fire bird — a symbol of renewal, resilience, and rebirth. Just like the myth, we all sometimes arrive tired, overwhelmed, or in need of care… and with the right support, we rise again feeling lighter, stronger, and renewed.

Massage is more than relaxation — it’s a moment to pause, reconnect with your body, release what you’ve been carrying, and allow yourself the care you deserve.

Today is a celebration of women’s strength, resilience, and the beautiful power of renewal.

💝 THE STORY BEHIND MY LOGO 💝

My logo is more than a design — it is the heart of my mission.
The hands gently holding Planet Earth symbolise protection, care, and responsibility.

They represent my commitment to nurturing not only the people I work with, but also the environment we all share.

💚🌎 Every treatment is delivered with eco-conscious practices in mind — from sustainable choices to mindful operations — because wellbeing should never come at the cost of our planet.

At the centre is the BE . NU bird, inspired by ancient mythology. In both Greek and Egyptian traditions, the Bennu — often connected to the Phoenix — is the sacred fire bird that rises from its own ashes.

🔥 🕊The BE . NU symbolises transformation, renewal, and rebirth.
Just like the mythical fire bird, my clients often arrive feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, carrying stress in their bodies and tension in their muscles. Through therapeutic touch and intentional care, they release what no longer serves them. They leave lighter, freer, rebalanced — reborn from their own ashes.

🕊 In the bird’s beak is a simple twig. This small detail carries powerful meaning. It represents new beginnings, growth, and hope. It reflects my tree-planting mission — for every massage booked, a tree is planted. Each treatment not only restores the individual but also gives back to the Earth.

🌿The twig is a promise: every act of care creates something new.

Together, the hands, the Earth, the BE . NU fire bird, and the twig tell one story — a story of protection, renewal, sustainability, and conscious wellbeing.

🌞 A Day of Corporate Massage in Manchester ☀️

The day began early in the city, with the morning sun reflecting off the glass of the skyscrapers in Manchester. It was one of those crisp, bright days where the city feels full of energy before the rush truly begins.

Before heading to the office for the corporate massage booking, I stopped at my favourite little city spot, Federal Cafe & Bar on Deansgate. A warm decaf latte in hand, I took a moment to catch up on a few client messages and finish some admin before the working day started. It’s a ritual I enjoy—those quiet moments before a busy day of helping others relax and reset.

On my way to the office I also visited Holy Grain Sourdough Bakery for some of their incredible breads—focaccia, sourdough baguette and a seeded sourdough loaf. Absolutely to die for.

By the time I arrived at the office building, the sun was shining brightly through the large glass entrance.

After treating some of the employees I've decided to go for a lunchtime walk. I bumped into a lively baker downstairs in reception, who had set up a little stand filled with fresh baked treats, the smell drifting through the lobby and making it impossible to resist. What a great idea! Check her out Bridge Bakes and Cakes. Of course, I couldn’t pass it by. I stocked up on some delicious goodies before heading out to soak up some sunshine 🌞

The corporate massage day itself ran from 10am until 5pm. Because there were fewer employees currently working in the office, we had the luxury of offering longer sessions of 30–45 minutes per person instead of the usual shorter slots.

💝💆‍♀️And what a difference that makes.
With that extra time, each treatment could go deeper—really focusing on tight shoulders, tense necks and overworked backs from long hours at the desk. There was time to work through stubborn muscle tension properly, rather than just giving a quick refresh.

Many clients also enjoyed the addition of a relaxing scalp massage, which always seems to melt away the last layer of stress.

You could see the shift in people as they stepped off the chair—shoulders lower, faces softer, breathing deeper.

💝It’s moments like these that remind me why I love bringing massage into the workplace. In the middle of busy schedules, deadlines and meetings, taking 30–45 minutes to reset the body and mind can completely transform someone’s day.
Great coffee, incredible bread, sunshine over the Manchester skyline, and a full day of helping people feel lighter, freer and more relaxed.
