🌿 Professional and Personal Development 🌿

This morning I had the pleasure of attending a Dru Backcare & Wellbeing postgraduate CPD session with Dru Yoga.

I’m delighted to share that I have now officially signed up to commence the full course from next Saturday, studying over the next four months.

This in-depth training will further enhance my knowledge and practical skills to better support my yoga and chair-based exercise community — particularly around back care, physical resilience and mental wellbeing.

Continuing professional development is such an important part of my personal and professional journey. It allows me to deepen my understanding, stay informed with best practice, and ensure the sessions I deliver are safe, supportive and effective for all abilities.

I’m already feeling inspired, with new ideas that I’m excited to begin sharing in my community classes from next week. A very energising and motivating step forward ✨

As January comes to a close, I’ve been taking time to reflect on what has been a really positive and encouraging start to the year for DruwithjuYoga.

✨ I was delighted to take over a long-standing Chair-Based Exercise class on Mondays, 11.00am–12.00pm in Breaston
✨ Weekly community classes are now running at around 80% capacity
✨ I warmly welcomed six new members into my yoga classes
✨ There has been a continued increase in followers across my social media platforms
✨ I had the pleasure of leading a day retreat in collaboration with Women Outdoors
✨ I delivered two corporate wellbeing sessions for Leicester College
✨ I received confirmation of four new community bookings, including groups such as:
• Women's Institute in West Hallam and Ripley
• A live cancer support group in Marehay, Ripley
• The Evergreens group in Breaston
✨ I am currently tendering to offer wellbeing support with a meningitis charity, which I’m very grateful to be considered for

Most of all, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the DruwithjuYoga community. The loyalty, support and warmth of my regular class attendees means so much, and it’s a joy to see such a lovely community continuing to grow.
Feeling very grateful for a strong and positive start to the year 💚🙏
