Christmas has arrived at Nightingale, and our residents have had a wonderful time decorating the trees.

This activity brought back cherished memories of decorating Christmas trees with family and sharing unique family traditions. Some of our team also shared stories about Christmas traditions from their home countries—like putting out freshly polished shoes on December 5th or hanging stockings on December 24th. On Friday afternoon, Peter visited the Great Northern pub in Mickleover, where he enjoyed catching up with the regulars and staff. He had his usual lunch—poached fish, chips, garden peas, and gravy, accompanied by a lovely glass of red wine.

Peter has been a regular for many years, and the visit brought back many fond memories for everyone.
