We’re proposing to bring all patient registrations together onto a single patient list. This will save staff time, reduce duplicated work, and help us run more efficiently.

This is mainly an administrative change and will have no effect on your care or the availability of services and appointments.

• Pear Tree will become the only main site
• Chellaston will become a branch site, like Oakwood and Coleman Street
• As a branch site, Chellaston would close half an hour earlier at 6pm, in line with our other branch locations.
• We are recruiting additional clinicians to provide the same number of appointments despite the shorter opening hours at Chellaston.

Both boys and girls are offered the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) jab at school in Year 8 (age 12-13). It's highly effective at preventing cervical cancer, ge***al warts, mouth, and throat cancers.

If you missed your HPV vaccine, you can still catch up until your 25th birthday.
Contact your school nurse or GP to book.

If you are referred to a pharmacy after contacting the surgery, please make sure you attend the specific pharmacy you have been referred to.

Not all pharmacies have an independent prescribing pharmacist who's qualified to assess, treat, and supply the medication for the condition you were referred for.

Lister House Surgery embraces technology to improve patient experience and the efficiency of our service. But we know some patients will find using new technology challenging.

We encourage online contact where possible as it’s quick and convenient, but our receptionists and call handlers are still here for you.

If you’re not confident with technology or prefer speaking to someone, you can still call us or visit reception at any of our four sites.

No matter how you get in touch – online, by phone or in person – every medical request goes through the same form and is triaged by a clinician to ensure you get the right care.
