He's Only Gone & Done It Again!

Dr Mohammed Iqbal has successfully completed the three major peaks in the UK!

Mount Snowdon ✅
Ben Nevis ✅
Scafell Pike ✅

Scafell Pike was the final of the three and despite an ongoing knee injury, yesterday Dr Iqbal completed the trek in aid of the earthquake victims of Syria.

In February, a powerful earthquake devastated war-torn Syria, leaving millions of people struggling to rebuild their lives. The situation in Syria has worsened since the disaster, with affected communities enduring immense challenges: displacement, hunger/malnutrition and a lack of access to healthcare.

Dr Iqbal was set a target of £2,500.00. Funds raised will be donated towards clothes, medical supplies, and food.

It’s that time of year when Dr Mohammed Iqbal gets on his trekking shoes as he gets set for yet another trek! This year Dr Iqbal will be trekking Scafell Pike - the highest mountain in England to raise funds for the earthquake victims in Syria.

On February 6, 2023, a powerful earthquake devastated war-torn Syria, leaving millions of people struggling to rebuild their lives. The situation in Syria has worsened since the disaster, with affected communities enduring immense challenges: displacement, hunger/malnutrition and a lack of access to healthcare.

Dr Iqbal’s target is set at £2,500.00 and 100% raised will be donated towards clothes, medical supplies, and food.

After a successful trek of Mount Snowdon in 2021, Dr Mohammed Iqbal will be trekking Ben Nevis on Saturday 20th August for the Children of War.

The Children of war are facing a terrifying situation -already traumatised and suffering having witnessed conflict, violence, the loss of their loved ones and destruction of their homes and livelihoods. They are now reliant on aid to survive -and at risk from covid19 and their fragile health system is under enormous strain and on the brink of collapsing.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Dr Mohammed Iqbal, 60, from Shelton Lock in Derby, who scaled Mount Snowdon to raise £1,892 for people affected by cancer.

Dr Iqbal works as a pharmacist at Lock Pharmacy in Derby and after a number of patients passed away from cancer over the years he decided to do something to support Macmillan
