Our Company Ethos:

The Oasis Care UK Group was founded upon the ethos that we would dedicate ourselves to providing services that affected the lives of the people we work with in a positive way. Our vision is to offer a structured, caring and safe environment, where our residents are central and supported to live their best lives. We produce tailored care packages that are set up with the guidance of the service users, their family and friends and all parties that have a significant interest. Langley Homes are two comfortable and homely three-storey houses in a quiet and friendly community in Langley Mill, Derbyshire. We have created an environment which is warm, welcoming and positive for both staff members and residents.

At Oasis Care, we don’t believe in “one size fits all.”
We believe in one person at a time, and doing what’s right for them.

That belief runs through every part of our work, from our residential homes and supported accommodation to our community projects and staff development. We work with young people and adults aged 16–65, many with complex needs, learning disabilities, or mental health challenges.

But our mission is bigger than meeting care needs.
It’s about building relationships, restoring dignity, and creating space for people to thrive, not just survive.

We’re proud to be a care provider that takes the time, trains our staff properly, listens with intention, and follows through with action. If you want to know more about what we stand for, we’d love you to read a little more about us.

Supporting Individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome Takes Patience, Knowledge and a Whole Lot of Heart

Prader-Willi Syndrome is often misunderstood. It’s not just about managing appetite or routine, it’s about supporting someone with unique emotional, cognitive, and physical needs, every single day.

At Oasis Care, we understand that success with Prader-Willi isn’t about control, it’s about consistency, structure, and deep trust.

That’s why our staff receive specialist training from the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) and why we develop personalised plans that support both well-being and independence.

From carefully monitored meals to emotional regulation strategies, our goal is to create safe, calm, and nurturing environments where residents feel seen, understood, and supported.

Because living well with PWS is absolutely possible, with the right team and the right care.

Residential Care That Balances Quality and Sustainability

Across the country, local authorities are under pressure, tasked with finding residential care that’s not only high quality, but also financially sustainable.
Across the country, local authorities are under pressure, tasked with finding residential care that’s not only high quality but also financially sustainable.

Sustainability in care isn’t just about cost; it’s about consistency, trust, and meaningful progression.

‼ But quality should never be the compromise

That’s why we’ve shaped our approach around long-term, person-centred outcomes.
By tailoring support, integrating with local community projects, and maintaining strong governance (CQC and Ofsted registered), we reduce placement breakdowns and offer stable, value-driven care.

One of the most common questions we hear from families is:
“Will they be okay?”

It’s not just about safety.
It’s about being seen, understood, and supported. It’s about knowing your child, whether they’re 16 or 36, will be cared for like a person, not just a service user.

At Oasis Care, families aren’t left on the sidelines. We work closely with parents, guardians, and loved ones to build trust, share progress, and make sure everyone feels included.

Because care doesn’t end at the front door. It starts with people who care deeply, and continues with a team who communicates, listens, and values every voice in the room.

If you're a family navigating care, we see you, and we’re here to help.

From Care Plans to Real-World Progress: The Power of Community Projects

Progress in care isn’t always measured in appointments or checklists.

Sometimes, it’s found in the sound of a beat dropping in a music studio.
Or the rhythm of feet pedalling in a cycling group.
Or the quiet confidence of someone serving a meal at a soup kitchen for the first time.

At Oasis Care, our community projects are tailored to each resident’s needs and interests, delivered in partnership with trusted local groups, and woven into personalised care plans.

🍲 Social responsibility through volunteering

These experiences help our young people build independence, confidence, and a real sense of purpose. They’re not just participating, they’re growing.

What a “Good” CQC Rating Really Means for Your Loved One

If you’re looking for a care home for someone you love, we know how overwhelming it can feel.

At Langley Homes, we’re proud to be rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission. But what does that really mean?

It means:
✔️ Our home is safe
✔️ Our staff are caring, consistent, and well-trained
✔️ We’re responsive when something isn’t working
✔️ Residents are treated as people, not just care packages
✔️ There’s strong leadership and real accountability

In short, it means your loved one will be supported in a place that’s been independently recognised for doing care well.

Not just once, but consistently.

We talk a lot about trauma-informed care in our sector. But what does that really mean when the front door closes and the day begins?

At Oasis Care, it looks like this:

One staff member bringing a second cup of tea without asking.
Another giving space without walking away.
Someone gently saying, “You don’t have to talk, just know I’m here.”
Our teams are trained in the PACE model, but more than that, they live it.
A young person doesn’t need fixing. They need consistency. They need people who don’t give up on them when it’s hard.

That’s what we show up for.

Support That Grows With You: Living Well With Complex Needs

When J joined us at Oasis Care, they brought with them a complex history, multiple diagnoses, high levels of anxiety, and behaviour that others often saw as "too difficult."

But behind those behaviours was someone trying to feel safe.

Through our trauma-informed, PACE-trained team and a consistent daily structure, we built trust. Small, steady steps, like accepting support, engaging in preferred routines, and settling into a calm environment, became quiet but powerful wins.

J may always require a high level of support, and that’s okay. Progress doesn’t have to mean full independence. It can mean emotional stability, fewer crises, and a life where someone feels understood and valued.

💬 “This is the first place where my child hasn’t been moved on,” a parent told us. “That means everything.”

At Oasis Care, we don’t aim to ‘fix’ complex needs, we meet them with compassion, consistency, and care that lasts.

Care Starts With People Who Truly Care

At Oasis Care, our staff are more than support workers, they’re mentors, listeners, advocates, and steady hands in the moments that matter most.

Whether helping a young person learn how to cook for the first time, supporting someone through a tough mental health day, or sitting in quiet companionship during a moment of distress, our team shows up with empathy, patience, and skill.

Every member of our care team is PACE-trained, trauma-informed, and supported with continuous development to meet the complex needs of our residents. But beyond the training, it’s their compassion and consistency that leave a lasting impact.

We’re incredibly proud of our staff; they are at the heart of everything we do.
