Harsh words from Arnie, I know. But they are so true. It's your duty to yourself to try to change things.

It's World Cancer Day, and our incredibly brave (and CRAZY!!) Rebecca is fundraising for an absolutely insane challenge. On 21st June 2026, she will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge — climbing Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis, but with a twist: she will be cycling the 664km in between, with a total elevation of 5,369m; and trail running just over 44km, climbing a total of 3,157m, all non-stop.

She is doing this to raise vital funds for Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity and to shine a light on Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that increases certain cancer risks and affects 1 in 278 people.
Rebecca has chosen this charity as In 2021, at just 40 years old, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She had no symptoms
Her cancer was only detected thanks to a surveillance colonoscopy. She receives regular screening colonoscopies as I carry the MSH2 gene variant linked to Lynch syndrome, which means she faces a lifelong elevated risk of colorectal, endometrial, and ovarian cancers.
Her diagnosis came after a family history of cancer: her mother, grandmother, and grandfather all faced battles with it. Genetic testing proved life-saving for her and her siblings, allowing early detection and treatment.
