👩‍🎓✨ A Transformative Journey Completed ✨

I am so grateful and proud to share that I have achieved a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy at Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.

Not a bad result for a foreign girl navigating academic study in her second language and with my menopausal brain— a reminder that we all have potential and capacity to grow, and sometimes the bravest thing we can do is to step into the unknown and create meaningful change for ourselves.

For the past 3.5 years, I’ve been climbing many steps, overcoming personal challenges, and finding grounding while walking the quiet, beautiful streets around Nottingham Castle. This journey has shaped me both professionally and personally.

I leave behind:

This end of summer feels especially meaningful. After completing my degree 🎓, I’ve given myself time to pause in the nature of my Czech family home 🇨🇿🌿 🌺 ☀️ — a space to recharge, reflect, and prepare for the next chapter of life.

As I journey through the final stages of my degree, I’m reminded more than ever of the power of pause, presence, and embodiment. While my mind is busy with research and reflection, my body still calls for grounding—and yoga practices remains my anchor.

Yesterday, we stood in balance—equal light, equal dark—as the Spring Equinox marked a powerful shift. I enjoyed bathing in the golden light, feeling the warmth of new beginnings and the energy of renewal.

I am diving deep into dissertation reading and immersing myself in “The Grieving Body” by Mary O’Connor, PhD, who is a renowned researcher specialising in the psychological and physiological effects of grief. Her work bridges neuroscience, psychology, and bereavement studies.

This book resonates deeply, as I once experienced grief in a profoundly somatic way—there was a time when my pain was so overwhelming that I simply could not move. Now, 12 years on, I’m not only researching grief and its effect, but also working in bereavement counseling, helping others understand and process their grieving experiences.

March hums a quiet melody,
a bridge between frost and bloom,
where winter lingers in soft goodbyes,
yet spring begins to make its room.

The river stirs beneath the thaw,
boats rock gentle, lost in thought,
adrift like me—between the seasons,
seeking flow where change is wrought.
⛵️
Petals push through earth still shivering,
bold in their delicate display,
as I, in my winter hat,
step forward, shedding yesterday.

The winds still whisper of frozen days,
but sunlight calls my name—

As we say goodbye to 2024 and step into 2025, I want to wish you joy, peace, good health, fulfilment and growth in the year ahead. While I personally celebrate new beginnings with the Spring Equinox, today is still a meaningful time to reflect and honor the journey we’ve been on,
and planting seeds for our new chapter.

We are stepping into the new year under the grounding energy of the Capricorn New Moon, which arrived just yesterday. Capricorn’s steady and grounding influence reminds us to build strong foundations. this is the perfect energy to carry into new year filled with possibilities.

May 2025 brings you closer to your dreams , fill your heart with gratitude and inspire you to embrace all that’s yet to come

Winter is a season of reflection, stillness, and introspection—a time to pause and turn inward. For many, however, this season is deeply tied to grief, where the holidays bring memories of loss and the quietness of winter mirrors the ache within.

It’s okay if you’re not celebrating this year. If the idea of joy feels distant or forced, know that honoring your grief is an act of mindfulness in itself. Winter invites us to embrace our emotions without judgment, to nurture our hearts with patience, and to seek moments of tranquility amidst the darkness.
🌑
Grief changes the way we experience time and seasons. The world outside may be rushing into festivities, but you have permission to move at your own pace. Rest when you need to, allow space for reflection, and give yourself the grace to just be.

Winter reminds us to:
🌨️ Welcome all feelings, even the heavy ones.
☕️ Nurture yourself with compassion and care.
❄️Find moments of calm and stillness.
💙 Release the need to meet expectations.
