We are incredibly honoured and proud to have a D Day Veteran living at Wallfield House. A survivor of Gold Beach landings on D Day at the young age of 19, our amazing resident went on to continue to serve in the REM’s for the duration of the War. He has been video interviewed by the Imperial War Museum to record his memories for future generations.
A quiet, very modest gentleman, an absolute privilege to support this wonderful man in his later years.

We all had a fabulous morning enjoying the show brought to us by The Land Army Annies.

The secrets out...

'The Land Army Annies' performed their first public shows today 🇬🇧🎶🎤.

Sister duo to our now famous 'D-Day Dollies', the Land Army Annies provide a new spin to our popular vintage shows, with fun upbeat tribute to the women who won the war from the fields and farms of Britain. We had two teams of 'Annies' out for the first time today, including fabulous new recruits Chelsea and Vicki (pictured below), who performed at Wallfield House and Care UK's Edgbaston Beaumont Care Community in the Midlands. Also performing were Mini Concerts veterans Izzi and Emily who performed their first 'Annies' show at The Future Care's Southborough Nursing Home in London.

Well done ladies, it looks like you did your sisters proud 👏👏👏❤️🇬🇧!

We are also here to help, even if we are not the right home for you or your loved one, we will do as much as possible to help point you in the right direction 🥰

It went by in a flash 🇬🇧 but we all had a lovely time! Thank you to all the Wallfield House Team for making the jubilee weekend a success and thank you to all the Residents and Relatives for joining us to celebrate! 😍👑🇬🇧

The Residents had a lovely first day celebrating the Platinum Jubilee 🇬🇧 and loved having their photo taken with the Queen! The beacon tart went down a treat (so much so we didn’t get chance to take a photo of it!)
