Healthcare Assistant:
This role will see you visiting people in their own homes, helping them to continue living independently, or perhaps supporting them at End of Life. The level and amount of care can vary, depending on the clients’ needs. The service supports clients during the day and in some cases at night.
What are the Duties of a Health Care Assistant
A Health Care Assistant position is focused on the individual and their different needs, so the duties are diverse, this helps to keep the job interesting and increases job satisfaction and motivation.
Duties may include:
? Administering medication
? Making meals
? Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, hair, mouth and skin care, and eating and drinking
? Chatting and engaging with relatives and providing care updates
? Companionship
? Helping with household tasks such as laundry
Health Care Assistant in Soka Care Services Requirements:
?Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) required.
?Work experience is valuable.
?Mandatory Training is provided. You’ll be expected to complete your Care Certificate and ongoing allocated training.
