I’ve always had little confidence in our local government DCC. Spot the difference, one from DWP, the other from DCC.
Letter from DWP, if you were born before 22 September 1958 you maybe eligible for winter fuel payments.
Letter from DCC, if you were born before 25 SEPTEMBER 1957 YOU MAYBE ELIGIBLE FOR WINTER FUEL PAYMENTS.
I do think this is deliberate from DCC to avoid paying people that are entitled, and to save them selves 10’s of thousands to give them selves a pat on the back and to put in their own pockets.
This money belongs to the older Born and bred population that have paid their dues of the United Kingdom
