Here is baby Jude looking like a little star in his new glasses.
He was recommended to see us when the hospital advised he would need glasses after his Pupilloplasty surgery. He was also born with cataracts.
We are delighted to be a part of the team caring for his eyes and as an independent optician we are able to supply and fit even the tiniest glasses.

🎆 Bonfire Night is Brilliant — But Protect Your Eyes! 👀🔥

As we gather around fireworks and bonfires this Bonfire Night, don’t forget how vulnerable your eyes are to sparks, debris, and smoke.

👉 Here’s how to keep your eyes safe:
✅ Wear protective eyewear, especially if lighting fireworks
✅ Keep a safe distance from bonfires and displays
✅ Don’t let kids near sparklers without supervision
✅ Avoid rubbing your eyes if smoke or debris gets in — rinse with clean water instead

If an eye injury occurs:

We have recently ordered these tiny Flex Frames from Dibble Optical, and they have been glazed with the smallest lenses our team have ever seen.
