🌿 A Beautiful Gift for Our Garden 🌿

A huge thank you to our lovely residents’ amazing family for these beautiful bird houses for our garden.

We’ve filled them up with bird seed and can’t wait to sit back and enjoy watching our feathered visitors come and go. Moments like these really brighten our days and our garden 🐦✨

⭐️Employee of the Month- January⭐️

This year, we’re excited to introduce Employee of the Month, and we’re so pleased to announce our very first winner!

Our Employee of the Month for January is our wonderful Tracey, one of our amazing domestics 🧹✨

Tracey joined us just 6 months ago and has already become such a strong and valued member of the team. She is incredibly hard-working, always friendly, and never fails to brighten the day with her smile. Her dedication and positive attitude do not go unnoticed by residents or staff alike.

🏐 Weekly Exercise & Boccia Fun!

Today we enjoyed our weekly exercise session followed by a fantastic game of boccia with Derby County Community Trust!
Lots of smiles, movement, teamwork, and laughter all around — our residents absolutely loved it and can’t wait for next week’s session. 💪😊

🎉 Eyes Down… It’s Bingo Time! 🎉

Eyes down, it’s bingo time! Our residents love bingo so much that it was voted in during our residents’ meeting to become a weekly activity.

There’s always plenty of excitement, laughter, and friendly competition when bingo is on.

This week we enjoyed another lovely visit from Winnie 🐶 Lots of smiles, cuddles, and happy moments were shared, and residents absolutely loved spending time with her.

🎈 Beanbag Balloon Challenge! 🎯

We had great fun playing a game of skill, trying to get the beanbag into the hoop while it was tied to a balloon!
There were lots of laughs, concentration, and cheering each other on as everyone gave it a go.

We had a puzzling afternoon putting our thinking caps on and trying to work out these hidden meanings! There were plenty of guesses, laughs, and “aha!” moments along the way.
