🎯 Weekly Boccia Fun at The Firs! 🎯

Our residents have been absolutely loving their weekly Boccia sessions! There’s always plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and lots of encouragement as everyone takes their turn.

It’s a fantastic activity for all abilities — great for coordination, confidence, and keeping active, all while having a brilliant time together.

Well done to all our players… we can’t wait for next week’s match! 💙

We had so much fun creating our very own “The Firs Family Album”! ❤️
Our residents loved looking through the photos, choosing their favourites, and carefully sticking them into our new scrapbook.

It’s now proudly on display in the entrance for everyone to enjoy — a beautiful reminder of our memories, smiles, and moments shared together. 💕

🍪✨ Today at The Firs, we had a wonderful afternoon making Empire Biscuits! Empire Biscuits are two biscuits sandwiched together with jam in the middle and topped with a sweet icing.

It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon together, enjoying a sweet treat and some creative baking. 😋💛

🍿Cosy Movie Afternoons🍿

While the weather was gloomy outside, we stayed snug and warm indoors enjoying Love Actually on our big projector. 🎬✨

Our residents absolutely love choosing the films for our movie afternoons — it’s always a lovely mix of favourites, classics, and a few surprises! 💛
There’s something so special about everyone gathering together, sharing laughs and enjoying a cosy film as a community.

We had a great time playing a fun game of bean bag toss here at The Firs! 😄✨

There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of cheering as everyone took their turn aiming for the target. 🎉

🌺 Remembrance Day at The Firs 🌺

Today we commemorated Remembrance Day with a lovely afternoon tea, complete with jam and cream scones (and of course, plenty of tea!). ☕🍰

Our residents also helped add a poppy to our window display and took time to write heartfelt messages and memories of the war. ❤️

We will remember them. 🌹
