Thank you to the very talented team at Tailor Maid! After a busy year, they’ve brought the bag for our big banner back to life — it looks as good as new!

You can catch our banner and the band at Hilton’s Christmas Party on the Park this Saturday from 3pm. No rest for DHB! 🎶🎄

Well, this cold weather can only mean one thing…

SANTA’S COMING! 🎅✨

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that Derby Hospitals Band is firmly on his nice list this year!

We’ve got a handful of public performances lined up between now and jolly Saint Nick’s annual night shift, but we’re especially excited for our very own night of merry melodies.

Come and join us—and if you happen to spot Santa, please remind him of all the hard work Derby Hospitals Band has put in this year. Let him know that all we want for Christmas is a joyful, successful end to our musical year! 🎄🎶

As the colder days set in, we’ve been reflecting on what an incredible year it’s been for the Derby Hospitals Band — filled with music, community, and gratitude.

Our next performance will be a special one, as we come together to honour those who have made it possible for us to do what we love.

🕒 Remembrance Sunday — 9th November, from 3pm
📍 Main Entrance, Royal Derby Hospital

For anyone at the hospital — whether you’re working, visiting, or there for another reason — who may miss the morning Remembrance service, we invite you to join us for a moment of reflection and music.

Derby Hospitals Band, based in Littleover, Derby is a forward thinking, friendly and inclusive concert/community band that has a vacancy for a Tuba and Euphonium player

The band has a sensible diary of well attended rehearsals (Thursday evenings 7-9pm)and quality concerts.
