This week, our residents played “Guess the Scent” and were whisked back in time — from talc to shoe polish. But it was Pears Soap that really stole the show!

Yesterday, residents enjoyed a delicious Irish themed lunch and supper as part of our celebrations 🇮🇪

It’s always lovely to see everyone gathered together, enjoying good food and great company 💚

A lovely Mother’s Day afternoon at Springwood 💐

It was so special to see residents spending time with their families this afternoon as we celebrated Mother’s Day together 🩷

Everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with plenty of sweet treats, sandwiches and lots of chatting and laughter around the tables 🍰

Today we celebrate the wonderful women who have spent their lives loving, guiding and caring for their families 💐

Moments like these, spent together with family, are what make days like today so meaningful ✨

Today we’re celebrating all the wonderful mums, grandmothers and great-grandmothers here at Springwood.

A lovely pamper session at Springwood this morning 💅

Louise joined us for her regular visit to give residents a manicure and paint their nails. There was plenty of chatting, colour choosing and admiring the finished results.

Residents enjoyed choosing their favourite colours and taking a little time to relax while their nails were done.

It’s often the little moments like this that bring the biggest smiles.

This afternoon we planted hanging baskets with Ella, our gardener. 🌸

It was wonderful hearing residents chatting about the gardens they used to tend — sharing what they loved to plant and offering plenty of advice to Ella and Gemma for their own gardens!

Hilary gave the activity a very generous 10/10, and Marsha turned out to be an absolute pro with the planting.

The finished baskets are now hanging proudly at the front of the home and have really brightened up the entrance. We’re looking forward to watching them grow over the coming weeks. 🌼
