Meet the team -
As Stride Out Veterinary Physiotherapy is geared towards helping animals feel their best, it is only right to introduce to you all our furry friends and highly valued members of team Stride Out.
Apollo - The Angel
Apollo is a 6yr old Belgian Warmblood, Elena has owned him since he was 3 and completely untouched/feral. He has come a really long way since then and is sure to have a very promising future in show jumping and dressage. He is such a smart and friendly horse and is always a pleasure to work with!!
Louis - The Hippo
Louis is an 8yr old Dutch Warmblood, Elena's first horse of her own. Unfortunately an undiscovered injury that occurred prior to Elena backing him meant his ridden career was cut short, lasting only 6 weeks. While Louis cannot be ridden he is such a huge character and the perfect playful companion for Apollo. As the nickname suggests, he LOVES the mud, which is unfortunate as he is a grey horse π€¦ββοΈ.
Finn - The Entertainer
Finn is a 9yr old rescue cat, abandoned in a park as a kitten. He is the friendliest cat, you only have to look in his direction and the purring will start!! Finn always provides us with plenty of quality entertainment with acts such as: attempting to squeeze into any cardboard box (no matter how small), chasing flies, playing fetch, and so much more!!
Luna - The Sleepy
Luna is a 9yr old rescue cat. Luna is a much more 'normal' cat compared to Finn, she spends most of her time curled up on her own chair sleeping. She is a gorgeous cat and often looks very majestic while sitting upon her throne (or ikea chair as some may call it), but she does also have a goofy side to her which we also love.
We understand that all animals are individuals with their own characters and quirks, therfore when working as a veterinary physiotherapist all animals are treated as individuals. We believe this is very important during the process of rehabilitating or maintaining our patients as physiotherapy treatment is not a one size fits all service!!
