• CHRISTMAS MARKETS 2025 •

I’ve absolutely loved doing Christmas markets this year. Stepping out and finally going at it solo has been a big confidence boost. It’s a lot of hard work — the prep, the long days, the graft — but what’s been particularly special for me this year is the sense of community I've felt at each one.

I’ve received some truly beautiful feedback, especially about my handmade products, and I’m so grateful for that. My stock of gift boxes has completely cleared, making space for fresh ideas and new visions, and honestly… my little head is buzzing about where to take things next. The fire is well and truly in my belly, and I'm so excited about the future of Bark & Bumble.

One of the highlights has been a little product swap with fellow creative and good friend Luke at . I’ve had my eye on this squirrel for a while, and after trading a candle and some bath goodies, he’s finally made it home with me 🐿️

Please go and check out Luke’s work — it’s impeccable, beautifully made, and of course, nature-inspired.

Not long now before the first Christmas Market of the year. My first batch sold really well in Spring, and I'm actually way happier with how these have come out so 🤞 they will do well!

• PRODUCT MAKING •

There are so many aspects to what I do, but one of my favourite parts is sitting down with my books and oils, making up combinations that can heal the body, calm the mind, and nurture the soul. ✨️

So far, I’ve created a few products that have effortlessly become part of my own routine:

• Moisturising bath melts
• Bath & massage oils
• Make-up remover
• Candles & wax melts
• Household antibacterial sprays

Each one is 100% natural, made with simple ingredients and the magical properties of essential oils. 🌸

It’s a shame that the legal requirements for selling these items are so expensive - but one day I’ll take the leap, get everything in place, and finally be able to share them with you all!

• CHRISTMAS MARKETS 2024 •

I know… it’s taken me a little longer than planned to share this, but here we go!

✨ Christmas Shopping Night at the Furnace Inn ✨
My very first market, and what a wonderful way to dip my toes into the world of selling my creations.
It was a lovely evening filled with good vibes, and I'm so happy to say it was a success. I’m already looking forward to returning this year!

✨ Matlock Christmas Market ✨
Ah, the big one! And the reason it took me a while to post this…

In my inexperience, I checked the weather forecast for rain but completely overlooked the wind speed. As a result, our gazebo, anchored down with just sandbags, was no match for 55mph gusts - which led to it taking flight, along with all my stock blowing away with the wind. Safe to say, it wasn’t my finest moment, but hey - lesson learned!

Despite the chaos, I’m choosing to focus on the amazing moments that came from the rest of the event. The support, the people, the experience - it was all worth it in the end.

With that in mind, I’m excited to announce that we’re going again! This time, I’m booked in for a spring market at Little Chester Green Community Centre and a summer market at The Shiny Tap Micropub.
