A resident at Richmond Villages Aston-on-Trent has donated her hair to a children’s cancer charity, Little Princess Trust in a remarkable act of generosity. 🫶

Sarah has raised an impressive £1,205 for The Little Princess Trust, which provides free wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.

Residents and friends came together in the wellness spa where they cut Sarah’s hair to show support and help raise money. Sarah’s donated hair will be used to create two wigs, offering much-needed comfort and confidence to children during an extremely challenging time.

We were delighted to welcome guests to our Discovery Day at Richmond Villages Aston-on-Trent, although the weather couldn't make it's mind up, one minute hail stones, the next beautiful sunshine, we still had a wonderful day!

Visitors explored our retirement village with guided tours of our beautifully designed spaces and retirement apartments, learned more about the lifestyle and care options we provide, and enjoyed a delicious complimentary lunch prepared by our talented chefs. 🏡

We were also delighted to have our Resident Ambassadors with us, as well as Natalie joining us from Spring Part Exchange and Rachel and Laura from Crane and Walton Solicitors LLP, offering expert advice throughout the day.

It was a pleasure opening our doors and sharing a glimpse of life at our vibrant community. 🌟
