Mother’s Day is a day of celebration, honouring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.

Our love for them will always be there and never be taken for granted.

It’s also important that we remember how difficult today will be for all those who have sadly said goodbye to their mum’s, for mums who have sadly lost a child and for those dads who today will be strong for their children.
As we celebrate this special day, we do so with love, happiness and treasured memories ❤️

We also think about those currently resting in our care and their families on this difficult day 🤍

It was a privilege to join the lovely volunteers of Friends of Aston Brickyard Plantation yesterday to assist with their monthly working day. The sun was shining and it was great to get involved with their hard work.

After growing up in Aston and living there for 20 years, it was lovely to be able to give something back and help with the maintenance of a beautiful area of the village that I didn’t even know about!

We will be joining the volunteers most months, where we can and look forward to seeing how the plantation changes throughout the seasons.

Thank you all for your kindness and welcoming me to the group. I look forward to joining you again soon.

As you know, last week we closed early to allow time for staff training.

There is a lot of preparation that happens behind the scenes, without most people knowing. The small details create a lasting memory when you spend time with your loved one. Every coffins is individually dressed, whether you’re spending time with your loved one or not, and this will remain on the coffin.

We know there can be a lot of questions regarding this side of the funeral but please remember we are always here to support any questions you may have.
