I’m/we are now signing off for the first Christmas of Creativity Care 2025 🎄🎅🏻❄️💃⛄️⭐️. Time for me to have a rest 😁😅🥰. And 🎉🎉 introducing the newest member of the Creativity Care family: our amazing Si!! I have supported Si previously for a few years and he is part of the family already! He is great at cooking and is the loveliest of guys with many talents including Drumming! I am so so happy to have him on board 💙😎🤩🎉

Hi All, apologies for the long absence of posts! Its been a VERY busy couple of months here at Creativity Care! The girls have been making amazing progress. Our AJ has been doing fabulous with exercising and we have done the first of 2 duo gigs as friends and fellow Musicians - went down a treat! Our Princess P has been enjoying Christmas activities and working so hard at managing her emotions during a very excitable time. And singing!! So very proud of them both 🥰🎉🤩🎄🎤🎹🎷❤️

This week is a ‘words of wisdom’ post! I think we need to all realise in life but also when supporting someone with Autism that: every day, every week, every year is a learning curve. No matter how many years experience you have in whatever capacity - you cannot always get it absolutely right! Loving and accepting the person you are supporting goes a long long way! Working ‘with’ not ‘against’ their Autism is huge! It can be challenging and mean a hell of a lot of thinking ‘outside the box’ and a fully none judgemental attitude, but it can mean (at the end of the day) that the person feels valued, loved and supported no matter what. No one (neuro-normal or neuro-diverse) can ask for more than that. So, to those of us who carry on going despite difficult issues cropping up - you are doing your best and none of us can ask for more than that ❤️💙

Hi All 😍😎, apologies for not posting for a while! Its been busy busy here at Creativity Care PA since I got back from my summer hols! As well as our usual jaunts out in the community of Derby and Derbyshire, there has been some big strides made by the girls! 🤩🤩.
AJ and I did a new Open Mic night at the revamped Derby Market Hall and were talent spotted by the staff and asked to do a couple of professional duo gigs 🎉🎉😎💪! So unexpected and fab! She has also been coping so well with her difficulties and moving forward slowly but surely 😍.
Princess P has been making big steps towards controlling her emotions and building her confidence up. Both through settling more into our routine of support and trusting me to keep staying with her and her understanding her feelings more and focusing on looking forward to happy events. Also, doing amazing with her singing as some of you will have seen 😍. So so proud of both my ladies 💃🥰
