The importance of storing PPE is huge, especially to those who rely on it regularly such as health care providers, patients family, care homes and medical professional health care facilities. here are a few examples how PPE should be stored;
▪️ well stacked and organised
▪️ a dust free and clean environment
▪️ out of direct sunlight, in a dry area
It is also important to make sure the PPE you use isn't breaching its expire date, and is also comfortable and fitting to the care giver using it. Ignoring these things may put yourself and the client at risk as your PPE may not be affective. 🥽
