Hey everyone.
Really sorry if you called to the shop today and I wasn’t there.
I went into work this morning as usual and found majority of my electrics were not working.
Luckily my fridge still was… 🤗
Saturday is a day when the The Fig Derby and I suppose majority of Sadler Gate have their most footfall so not being able to open all day has got to be testing for all the businesses involved.
It has been for myself.
For me, the money that would have been taken today was already put aside and putting towards an accountant bill and invoices outstanding … I’ll have to find that elsewhere now and play catch up.
This is the reality of small business.
One small/major hiccup can upset the balance of running a small business for the whole week/month.
I’m assured, it’s all sorted now so if you’ll support me and the other businesses affected next week then I’m sure we will all be grateful… as you can see from the shaded area, it’s a massive catchment for small business in Derby.
I’m really sorry if I’ve let anyone down today and you made a special journey to visit me … 😢
