I cannot believe I almost didn’t become a Slimming World Consultant for the reasons I’m about to share with you… 🤦🏼‍♀️

I very nearly gave into my anxieties that told me I hadn’t lost enough weight or I’d lost too much, I wasn’t the right age, too short/not tall enough, people would laugh, members wouldn’t like me, I wouldn’t be very good, blah blah blah… 🥱

Looking back, I realised that was just the old me, clinging on and hoping she would win again.⛔️

Long story short, I told her to do one and now I’m almost 2 months into my new venture as a Slimming World Consultant and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! 💁🏼‍♀️ 💜

The before & after photos I’m sharing with you all today might not show the biggest physical change you’ve seen before… BUT the mental transformation? The confidence, inner peace, and happiness? Those are my life-changing achievements but unfortunately pictures will never show just how much my mental health has improved. ✨

💡 If you’re sitting where I once was, being unkind to yourself, doubting yourself or just generally feeling rubbish about your appearance, health, weight and more, please know: you are stronger than you think and you can rise above it all! ❤️

I’m really aching today after pushing myself in last night’s Consultant-only plank challenge.

Who knew holding still for SIX MINUTES & 11 SECONDS could hurt so much! 😅 😭

Anyway, I had 5 syns leftover for this evening and I thought I’d earned a little Saturday night treat after exceeding my own expectations with the plank hold. 💪

So…

I reached for a small bottle of wine in the fridge, scanned the barcode, and saw it was 6½ syns. 👀

I stopped and thought, do I really want to “spend” £6.50 of my syns on this when I’m determined to get that final pound off to get back into my target range next week? 🤔 AND it would mean being in debt as I’ve only got 5 left.

Answer: No thank you! 🙅‍♀️

Instead, I poured myself a lovely cold 125ml glass of Nozeco – just 1½ syns (a bargain at £1.50 in syn-money!). Ice cold, refreshing, and very satisfying & I’m still totally in control. 💁🏼‍♀️

It’s amazing how much easier choices are when I convert syns to savings!💡🌟

When life only gives you a one green pepper, eggs, rice and some store cupboard staples… make a giant heap of egg fried rice… with a bit of parsley on top! 🍚 🫑 🍳 😋

Went with the One-Pot Magic recipe book tonight, had the Spanish Fish & Potatoes and it did not disappoint. Very nice, filling and completely free! 😋

🎉 What a brilliant week so far! 🎉

🌟 5st award for one of our former Man of the Year Winners!

🌟 1 stone award for one of our fab new members who only joined 3 weeks ago & has had a holiday in that time!

🌟So many members achieving great weight losses, some up to 4.5lb in one week, all of whom have had delicious, filling meals and an unlimited amount of free food snacks.

🌟 Several non-scale victories as well including people maintaining or increasing their physical activity levels, making better choices and creating better habits whilst still enjoying social events, meals out & more! 🥰

I really love our Slimming World group, it really is the best thing ever! 🥰
