Easter holidays: a moment to notice how our loved ones are really doing
For many of us, Easter brings precious time with family. Alongside the joy and togetherness, these moments can also reveal how someone is coping behind the scenes.
Sometimes the smallest changes are the most telling.
Here are a few red flags that might suggest it’s time to start a supportive conversation about getting a little extra help:
• Home environment: more clutter, chores piling up, or meals becoming less regular
• Memory changes: repeating questions, forgetting routines, or seeming confused
• Mobility concerns: new bruises, hesitancy on stairs, or avoiding going out
• Eating & drinking: weight loss, dehydration, or skipping meals
• Social withdrawal: fewer outings, cancelled plans, or increased isolation
• Emotional wellbeing: signs of loneliness, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed
Noticing these things isn’t about judgement—it’s about care, dignity, and ensuring someone you love has the support they need to stay safe and comfortable at home.
If you’re unsure what to do next, I’m here to help
I offer a free, no‑obligation care consultation to talk through what you’ve noticed, explore options, and help you understand what support could look like—whether now or in the future.
