I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) – the largest UK professional body for Traditional Acupuncture, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

The BAcC sets the highest standards of professional practice for the acupuncture profession in the UK and, as a member, I am committed to following both their Code of Professional Conduct and the Code of Safe Practice for Acupuncture, which defines the standards for the safe and hygienic practice of acupuncture.

As a British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) qualified member, I have a BSc(Hons) degree in acupuncture (a minimum of three years and 3,600 hours of training). I have had full anatomy and physiology training with an extensive focus on risk and safety. I’ve also undergone at least 400 hours of in-person clinical training and, having qualified, I now carry out regular risk assessments and yearly continuous professional development (CPD).

After battling my conscience with concern for my patients and overall concern for the current situation, I have taken the decision to close my clinic. To those of you that have acute/chronic pain I am so sorry & to those of you that I have been keeping well, stay well. If anyone needs advice I am available by text/phone or email. Please everyone heed the advice and stay at home. Your health and that of your fellow human beings is paramount.

I have been told by my governing body The British Acupuncture Council, that the London Coronavirus Response Team have advised us, as healthcare practitioners, to keep our clinics open & treat as usual.
To this end I am continuing to support my patients and others that may need help during this troubling time.
My hygiene standards as always are the highest & everyone will be screened thoroughly. so if you are unable to get NHS help currently for pain, anxiety, or just want a good immune boost to fight off any 'bugs' please consider acupuncture. If you are unlucky enough to catch Covid-19 then acupuncture may speed up your recovery.
