The business that became Gillman Funeral Service was founded by Henry Ingram at Goldsworth Road. Gillman Funeral Service has been serving families since 1920. We have branches in Balham, Battersea, Carshalton, Mitcham, Norbury and Tooting. Our experienced and caring staff will advise and support you at every stage of the funeral planning process. We also offer Choice Funeral Plans which enable you

In September, the team at Murray's Funeral Directors held their annual Memory Walk to their Memory Tree, which was planted in 2019. It was a touching event where families had the opportunity to write memory tags and place them on the tree, followed by a short service and a peaceful moment of reflection with music.

This year’s walk saw a wonderful turnout, with lots of people (and plenty of furry friends). After the walk, everyone gathered back at the Findern branch for a warm cup of tea or coffee, cake, and a good chat. It was a lovely chance for people to connect and share their stories.

There was also a raffle held this year with some amazing prizes, including a cheese hamper, a voucher for a free car care service, and a stunning bouquet from our local florist.

A big thank you to everyone who came and made the day so special! We look forward to seeing you all again next year 💚
