To take proper care of your teeth, you should have a certified dentist you trust who performs a routine check-up every six months under normal circumstances. Don’t assume that having many dentists available means you can visit whenever you want or only when needed.
A dentist who sees you once or twice does not care for you the same way as one who sees you regularly and values keeping you as a patient.
Do not visit the dentist only when you feel pain or when the need becomes urgent. Build a lasting relationship with a dentist you trust—one who advises you honestly because they do not want to lose you as a patient.
