Routines Restored 🙏🪷
I love September 🍂 I know summer isn't the same now my daughter is older and it is no longer a task in creating and occupying her together with the busyness of summer holidays (and I do miss all that 🥰), but being out of routine, the "what day is it" moments still happen. So when September arrives it feels like an opportunity for a fresh start.

New starts, new challenges, clearing, organising, restoring order, and then of course a return to the familiar routines.... it feels wonderful 😌 (big exhale!)

I was going to add.. and thinking about Chri..🎅 but I won't, its too early 🤣

Does anyone feel the same?

You may or may not know, but I've had a bit of a break, quite literally!!

In the middle of April I broke my wrist, a lovely fracture straight through my radius at the wrist (that's the big bone of the forearm). A lovely walk on Blackpool beach spoiled by slipping on the concrete steps, not once but twice on the same wrist. So it's been many weeks of one-handed living and without the use of my dominant hand. Blimey! How you realise simple things are really difficult or impossible with one left hand!!

Well, the cast has been off for 3 weeks now, and I am diligently keeping up with my physio exercises to regain mobility and strength. I have to say I was totally unprepared for how useless and painful my wrist would be once the cast came off. Breaking a bone has been a new experience for me ( and not one I care to repeat!). I have so much more compassion for anyone who has been through the same because it is so much more than breaking a bone. 😔🙏

So, to the future! I hope to returning to my practice as soon as strength and stamina in my arm and hand have returned. I very much look forward to welcoming you back. I have missed my work very much, and equally, my lovely clients, I will make it up to you 🙏❤️

I will keep you posted. It won't be too long now, my guys are giving me some very tense shoulders to practise on to get my hand back back in the game 🤣👍
