Yesterday we had the privilege to assist with another proud former soldiers funeral.

The coffin, adorned with:

“The Queen’s Lancashire Regiment”, Colours, Cap and Medals.

Many of his former colleagues were able to attend along with a Standard Bearer and Bugler whose rendition of the last post and reveille was both fitting and emotional ❤️

Christmas is a time for family and love, and this year feels a little different. Earlier this year, we lost one of our own — our much-loved Eddie.
As we enter the festive period, we just want to say that we’ll be thinking of you, Eddie — our family, our friend, and our mentor.

We had such a lovely afternoon at the opening of the Christmas Tree Festival at St Annes Parish Church. The trees are beautifully decorated, and it was especially meaningful to hang a memorial star on our sponsored tree in memory of Mum and Dad. Dad would have absolutely loved it — he was such a huge fan of Christmas! It’s truly worth a visit over the next few days, all in support of some wonderful causes as well💙
