Have you birthed your baby via csection?
Were you sent home with little guidance on how to manage your post csection body?
Are finding difficulty with movements at home ?
Do you feel unsure about what you should do to give yourself the best possible chance of recovery?
Delivering your baby via csection is major abdominal surgery. And with so many layers that need to heal and recover, there are important steps to take to ensure you dont overdo it and give yourself the best possible chance of recovery.
Our Csection 8 Week Recovery Guide support the first 8 weeks of your recovery journey and ahead of any hands on work we can start to do in clinic once your healing has progressed. This can be started anytime within the first 4-6 weeks of your postnatal journey, but the sooner you start, the sooner your recovery gets underway properly.
Within the 8 weeks we will work on several stages of recovery including:
🧡breath rehabilitation
❤️pelvic floor activation
🧡safe movement around your life
❤️confidence in bigger movement patterns
🧡scar tissue recovery
❤️gentle releases
🧡massage for csection recovery
❤️how to move forward from the 8 week programme
This programme will be done online, from the comfort of your own home. If you are local to the clinic, you can then attend weeks 7 and 8 in person at the clinic where you will have a full assessment of your csection scar, diastasis tummy gap and overall postnatal wellbeing.
