It all started with some π€ making your own butter π§ is a super simple process π« start by over mixing your cream in your stand mixer, food processor, or even by vigorously shaking in a jar. After a few minutes it will turn yellow and separate into butter fat and buttermilk. Drain the buttermilk and set aside to be used in other recipes. Squeeze the fat and wash in ice cold water, be sure to squeeze out all the buttermilk. Add some sea salt and form into perfect little blocks, wrap in parchment and refrigerate or freeze till needed! Delicious and half the price of buying butter.
