Today was our Italian culture Day. We have celebrated Italy by enjoying some Italian foods, puddings and coffees. We did our own volcano experiment and spent some time talking and learning about the many volcanos in Italy. Some of us enjoyed this lovely sunny weather outside including some Italian themed colouring. We have also enjoyed some Italian music with our food and learnt some Italian words 🇮🇹☕️🧁

✨ Celebrating Eid Together ✨
We were delighted to receive some thoughtful gifts from a kind member of staff from one of our sister homes for our staff members who are fasting. This kind gesture means so much to our team and reflects the care and appreciation shown to staff across our home and company.
Moments like this are a wonderful reminder of the importance of celebrating different cultures and traditions together, bringing us all closer as one big family. 💛
A huge thank you to one of sister homes for spreading kindness and helping us celebrate such a special occasion. 🌙✨

What a beautiful Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea we had today 💐
Our wonderful mums enjoyed delicious cakes, sandwiches and plenty of tea while spending special time with family and friends. It was such a lovely afternoon full of smiles, laughter and precious moments.

Today we have started our monthly Build & Brew sessions. Lego is a fantastic intergenerational therapeutic activity that helps improve fine motor skills, boosts cognitive function and encouraging socialization to reduce loneliness. It helps with dementia by expressing emotions, and engaging in creative and tactile play. We hope to build on these sessions each month and create some wonderful masterpieces.
