A Walk in the Wind
It was a very windy day a few days ago, and I was walking outside, feeling the cold rush against my face. At first, I thought, ‘Ugh, this is unbearable. Why do I have to be out here? The sand is stinging my face. I just want to go home.
But then I paused. I noticed the way the wind moved around me — how it danced on the vast embty beach , swirled past my shoulders, and carried the world along with it. I was wondered: what if I let it carry my worries too?
I imagined offering it my tension, my frustrations, and all the little thoughts weighing me down. Slowly, I felt my shoulders relax. My breath came easier. The same wind that felt harsh a moment ago began to feel freeing.
It has reminded me that life often blows in winds we cannot control — frustration, resistance, challenges. We can either fight them, complain, or let them move through us. Sometimes, the greatest liberation comes from simply noticing, releasing, and letting go.
In my work, I see the same process again and again. Resistance is natural, but when someone allows themselves to release it, to let go, the lightness and freedom that follow is priceless. Watching that shift happen — even a little — is a gift I never take for granted. 💛
So today, I invite you to try it yourself. Step into the wind. Notice what it brings up. And then, let it take what no longer serves you. When you do, you may just feel a little lighter, freer, and more alive.
🌬Are you ready to offer your worries to the wind? Step outside and see what shifts. Your freedom is waiting.
