🎄 Why not do something meaningful before the Christmas festivities begin?
This November, create a Reverse Advent Box — a simple and powerful way to help someone in need this winter.
Whether you do it on your own, with your family, or as a work team, choose from one of four themed lists:
• 🧦 A family in need
• ☕ Someone living in temporary accommodation with only a kettle
• 🏠 A person experiencing homelessness (male or female)
Each list contains 30 low-cost, useful items. You can gather one item per day throughout November -or share the list between your team, with each person contributing a few items.
At the end of the month, your box will be passed on to someone who truly needs it - and you’ll have made a real difference this Christmas.
📦 Drop-off points will be available during the first two weeks of December.
📩 To get a copy of the list, just message the page or email us (contact@helpingheartsfylde.co.uk). We’ll send you everything you need to get started.
Let’s spread kindness before we get caught up in the sparkle ✨

We are very very busy with lots of new people to support both at home and in the Hub, so we are looking to expand our fabulous team
You will need to have a warm heart, big smile go with the flow attitude, not be afraid of hard work with early starts and working weekends and a couple of late evenings a week
you need to drive for this role and have a car, if you have a D1 on your license that would be great but definitely not essential

In return you will get a friendly supportive team, living wage, free meals, full development opportunities, discounted holidays and chance to join us on free holidays to great locations, facials and massages and so much more
You will work a mixture of care at home, activities in the hub and also our supported holidays where appropriate so never boring
no experience necessary as we will guide you every step of the way, everyone has transferrable skills to bring to enhance someones life
Get in touch to come and try us out for the day to see if you think Social care is for you

Choose a flexible way to have your care delivered

At Senior Moments Care we understand that when it comes to providing the very best in health and social care, there really is no place like home. With many years’ experience of private residential care settings, we have seen time and again how the wrench from the comforting presence of loved ones and the familiarity of the home environment can often precede a rapid decline in mental and physical wellbeing.

Inspired by the work of Dr David Sheard and the Dementia Matters team we will work with you and your family to implement the best care possible and enable you to stay at home

Our experienced team is drawn from many sectors to ensure that you get the right team for you

Every call will be flexible and tailor made and the emphasis will be what suits you and not us
