🍍🍉 My first 'dancing fruit' party 🍉🍍

Today, I did my very first 'dancing fruit' party for this little superstar and I absolutely loved it! It was so lovely celebrating the special day with lots of graduates and introducing a few new faces to all the magic too. Our birthday boy was in his element surrounded by fruit, bubbles and balls (all personal requests!). His little bespoke party was themed around the 'dancing fruits' (IYKYK) and we enjoyed party dances, the pineapple shake, watching fruits bounce up and down on streamers and disappear under a holed cloth, we rolled lemon and limes and had a big party to end amongst fibre optics and glow sticks. What a way to celebrate being 1! 😍

Not only that, but we were hosted by the fabulous venue at Diddy Dreams (lots of compliments were made by party guests on entering about how beautiful it is) which is our collaboration venue and it was so lovely to be back after a busy few weeks!✨

'My son Leo had his first birthday party with Lucy at baby sensory and she was amazing as we knew she would be ❤️ all the babies enjoyed the party & she made it so special. Everybody commented just how fab it was 🥰

She executed the theme of dancing fruits perfectly for us. My son absolutely loves Lucy, she’s incredible at what she does.

Thank you so so much, we will remember this day forever and just how special she made it ❤️'

It's 'Ooby Dooby and photo week'! 🥁

This week we'll be discovering creative ideas for home play such as the infamous Baby Sensory laundry basket and treasure boxes filled with surprises. Your baby will discover movement activities, music making (some noisy!), an animal puppet show and we'll discover how to do the 'Ooby Dooby'. PLUS we are going to be joined by the brilliant Michael Ivan Photography on their second of three visits in 2026! They will give you and your little one the opportunity to capture some beautiful moments during their photo shoot alongside your session.

Get ready for Spring Showers! ☔

This week's class includes a rainy day and sunshine songs with signs. You'll love our unique Baby Sensory song 'The Sun is bright' and helping your baby move on to the next developmental stage with 'You are my sunshine.' Babies will also hear thunder sounds and see our wonderful, original rain cloud - and a beautiful rainbow! 🌈

🚀 Space Adventure 🚀

Tell me, where else can you travel to the moon and back in an hour and have as much fun as we have had this week?!

Our little astronauts had such a great time doing the 'Space Hokey Pokey', travelling through space listening to calming chimes, watching spinning planets, making space music, reaching for the stars and journeying back to Earth with the starry parachute and our lovely rainbow fibre optic lights!

Next stop on the Spring Term ... 'Spring Showers' ☔

👏🏼 Tap and Clap week 👏🏼

It was such a lovely start to the 'Spring Term' last week welcoming back lots of babies from the 'Easter Term' but also saying a big hello to lots of new faces too!

We learnt how to sign greetings, showed off our 'cheeky monkey' side, cuddled up together watching the rain and snow fall on those umbrellas, explored puppets, tapped and clapped and had a lovely little relax enjoying soft lighting and relaxing music to end. What a fabulous week ✨

We will be doing the 'Space Hokey Cokey', relaxing with reflective materials, enjoying watching spinning planets, performing the 'Martian Hop', 'Reaching for the stars' and enjoying our starry parachute, balloons, bubbles and lights in our big finale 🚀✨

🎓 Easter Term Graduates 2026 🎓

Today I started the 'Spring Term 2026' but before I get lost in all the fun and excitement of a new term, I need to make sure that these little superstars get their space on the grid so we can celebrate how fabulous they are!

I've known many of these babies almost all their life, I've enjoyed sitting with them week after week, watching them grow and develop, learn new skills, achieve milestones, show me their first rolls, crawls and steps and I've celebrated birthdays with them too not only in class but as a guest at their own private party ✨

To say it has been a pleasure getting to know them and their families would be an understatement and as they move on to nursery, child minders, grandparent days, toddler classes and more, I hope that those next adventures are filled with fun, happiness and many magical moments!

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey so far and to the tiniest Fylde Coast graduates, go and show the world how amazing you are! ✨

We are back this week with the start of the 'Spring Term' and we'll be enjoying a bit of 'Tap and Clap'! 🎉

This one is full of lots of fun ideas for greetings, movement, peek-a-boo, play and bonding. There's a fun weather song where it's going to rain bubbles and we've got a lovely light activity to end too.

✨ Big news ✨

I am very excited to tell you that due to popular demand, a 4th class has been added to our timetable at Ribby Hall on a Friday for the 'Spring Term'! I have been working hard for the past couple of days offering spaces to our waitlisted babies and I can now reveal there are two spaces available if you'd like to join us and have a baby aged from birth to 13 months!

The new class starts on Friday 17th April and runs for 6 weeks. Here's the info ...

💚 Fridays at Ribby Hall Village - 2pm (0-13 months) *2 spaces remaining*
