🏆 Baby Sensory® have been WINNERS at the What's on 4 Kids Awards since 2011 thanks to all of the votes from parents that attend and LOVE our classes!

At Baby Sensory® Fylde, we are so proud to be part of this award-winning team and absolutely LOVE what we do and that you love it too!

The What's on 4 Kids Awards 2025 take place on the 27th November and I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to celebrate at the ceremony itself this year having made it as a finalist in the 'Most Loved Activity Leader in North England'. We are back this week with the 'Winter Term' (Staining is back next Tuesday!) and I'm so excited to share lots of fabulous themes with you all over the next few weeks! ✨

We start off this week with 'Singing in the Rain' and will enjoy rain themed songs involving the 'Itsy bitsy spider', 'five little ducks', listening to thunder, flying a kite, taking a trip to the rain cloud and of course witnessing lots of rain!!🌧️

We do have spaces remaining for the 'Winter Term' and these can be booked at www.babysensory.com/fylde but I've also now opened pay as you go spaces for the next two weeks for anyone who'd like a more flexible option or to come and give us a try before committing to the full term.

Im excited to explore all things weather with you all this week, don't forget to get your space booked on that mat! 💚💛

👻 Spooky one 👻

This little one celebrates her first birthday today so it only seems right to do her party post today too! It was an absolute pleasure to create a little 'spooky' party with activities themed around moving those skeleton bones in the hokey cokey, being ghosts and playing peek a 'boo', watching our tinsel 'Baby Sensory Spider', getting excited as bats, ghosts and pumpkins disappeared down our holed cloth and much more! Plus, I had the pleasure of being hosted by the fabulous .dreams at the same time who had the perfect party venue for our little guests 🎉

'Lucy thank you so much for such an amazing ‘spooky one’ themed sensory party for Sofia! Everything was so thoughtfully planned and beautifully done🎃 We had the best time with all her sensory & baby group friends 🤩🧡'

🎓 Early Autumn Term Graduates 2025 🎓

I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing some of these little ones since they were just a few weeks old and what a group of superstars they have turned out to be! I've caught first rolls, first times sitting up and even first steps amongst these graduates and it has been so lovely spending my weeks with you all over the past year!

I'm wishing all my graduates and their families the best of luck as they journey onto the next big adventures and just want to say a big thank you so much for letting me be a tiny part of your lives so far. You will all be very missed, thank you for the memories and keep smiling and enjoying all the magical moments life gives you ✨

🐒 Jungle Jitters 🐒

We had such a fun last week of term in 'Jungle Jitters' as we travelled through the jungle performing as the 'Rattlesnake Band', reading and signing 'Brown Bear, Brown bear', meeting '5 little speckled frogs' and taking a trip into the jungle itself enjoying our jungle cloth. Then, we giggled with our older babies as they bounced like little monkeys and got cosy with our younger babies enjoying fabrics and puppets all before meeting the' Frisky Frog' and having a good old 'Jungle Boogie' to end!

What a week! Thank you all so much for joining me for the 'Early Autumn Term', we absolutely shared lots of laughter that's for sure! Don't forget, we are off this week but will be back with the start of the 'Winter Term' next week with 'Singing in the Rain'. Don't forget to book your place 🎉

'Pumpkin Parties 2025' are a week today (Saturday 25th October) at Hambleton Village Hall and we have a few spaces remaining for any little guys or ghouls who'd like to come and join the pumpkin patch - this is not a trick, it's an absolute treat! 🎃

If you have a baby aged from birth to 13 months and you'd like to join us do the pumpkin bounce, the pumpkin shake, witness an Autumn Harvest, have fun at a bonfire and fire works display and join the other little pumpkins in a big pumpkin patch at the end of class, you need to book your place now at www.babysensory.com/fylde! ⏰

🚂 Travelling week 🚂

We explored modes of transport this week as we galloped on a horse, rowed a boat across the stream, sang and signed sea shanties, did some posting for Postman Pat with our 7-13 months babies and became baby rockets with our birth to 6 months babies (which was the first time I've ever done this activity due to the newly introduced split age classes and it was a beautiful activity) 🚀
Then, as if that wasn't already enough, in the second half we created music using instruments to the 'Thomas the tank theme', did some travelling ourselves around the room and then enjoyed some cuddles, lights and bubbles!

'Early Autumn Term', you have been a treat and what a week to end the term on (this picture absolutely sums it up!)

I don't think I have ever laughed so much in one week, and it's mainly been frog related! 'Frisky' has had THE craziest week of her Frisky life 🤭 we've had a cloth collapse, a 'squawk' from a squashed parrot, the class where I just simply couldn't find the exit, the time I literally inhaled the cloth, the acapella version and today's frog mishaps where I almost decapitated myself 😂🐸! What a way to end the term!

Thank you so, so much for joining me over the last 7 weeks (I cannot believe it's been that long!) I have loved seeing babies back from the Summer Term and meeting many new ones along the way and really do hope you have enjoyed your time with us. I also just want to take a minute to say thank you so much for all the cards, presents, messages and physical thank you's - I cannot tell you how much they all mean! 🫶🏼

We are on holiday now for half term but I look forward to seeing many of you back for the 'Winter Term' very soon or at our 'Pumpkin Parties' which are being held a week tomorrow (visit www.babysensory.com/fylde if you want to join us).

Our Winter Term launches this evening at 8pm 🎉

Our existing and waitlisted customers have been busy securing their spaces over the weekend and now we're opening up the classes onto the website for all our new babies and adults wishing to join us!

We run for babies from birth to 13 months with two different age groups, a '0-6 months' class and a '7-13 months class' at venues in Staining, Carleton, Hambleton and Kirkham.

To book your place, please visit www.babysensory.com/fylde and then click 'book now' next to your favourite class time. There are a lot of classes on the website at the minute, so to shorten the amount of classes that show for you, please select your preferred venue from the venue dropdown list and scroll until you see 'Winter Term' ❄️

I cannot believe it but this week, we have the last class of the 'Early Autumn Term' ... 'Jungle Jitters' 🦁🐯🐘🦒🐸🐍

This class is a sensory experience in the jungle for you and your baby including an introduction to the Rattlesnake Band, animal signs, jumping frogs, a jungle boogie with bubbles, frisky frog (always a favourite!) and a trip into the jungle itself!

It's the perfect class to end the term on as well as we wave a final goodbye to some of our babies who will graduate this week having reached 12/13 months 🥲
