We had a busy training week last week, and we’re proud of how committed our team are to keeping their skills fresh and up to date.

On Friday, some of our team completed their three-day Moving and Handling Appointed Person course. They worked incredibly hard throughout the theory and practical sessions, and completed homework in between as well.

A big thank you to for delivering another excellent course.

We also ran First Aid and Addison’s Disease management training, because safe care means understanding the person in front of you and being prepared for real-life situations.

To our team… thank you for embracing personal development and upskilling so consistently. You should be very proud of what you’ve achieved.

Today marks the last day of Ramadan.
2 of our team: Saju and Rahma have been observing Ramadan for the last 4 weeks.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Most Muslims fast between dawn and sunset as this allows them to devote themselves to their faith.

If you would like to recognise the end of Ramadan when seeing Saju or Rahma, saying Eid Mubarak (Blessed Eid) or “Eid Saeed” “Happy Eid” is a good way to greet them.

"Losing my independence was like a bereavement"

Today we share a snippet from one of our clients Vinnie, on the "Do You Care Podcast"

Vinnie talks openly and candidly to Caroline in an episode about how the deterioration in her health felt like a bereavement to her.

Vinnie shares really positively how having some care and support on a regular basis has now helped her regain her independence meaning she can get out again and enjoy living her life; health permitting.

Yesterday our team completed a Cyber Security escape room exercise.
At Clifton Homecare we live by our values every day; one being Growth, learning and development.

We do not believe that e-learning is a helpful learning tool and instead find innovative ways for CPD.
The Cyber security break out room exercise was truly unique, enabling fun whilst learning and keeping data belonging to our clients and employee team safe.

Today Stuart Winward is spending the day with us delivering Skin and Pressure Care Training to some of our team.
We have worked with Stuart for many years now and we appreciate his expert knowledge and support that he provides to the team – not just on the day of training but on an ongoing basis thereafter.

Today is the annual COVID-19 day of reflection. We are thinking of everyone affected by the pandemic, particularly those who worked tirelessly caring for others on the frontline and those who lost loved ones. 💚

Sunday 8 March 2026 is the Day of Reflection for the COVID-19 pandemic. People and communities are invited to mark the day in ways that feel meaningful to them.

This year’s International Women's day’s theme is "Give to Gain".
