πŸ“’ Meningitis B Update
With the recent MenB outbreak, many people have been asking about vaccine availability.

πŸ‘‰ At this time, the MenB (Meningitis B) vaccine is not being offered routinely on the NHS for anyone outside the standard infant vaccination schedule.

If you are not eligible for the routine programme and would still like to be vaccinated, the MenB vaccine can be accessed privately through some pharmacies and private healthcare providers. Demand is currently very high, and some providers have waiting lists.

Please continue to follow official NHS and UKHSA updates, and contact us on PATCHS if you have concerns about symptoms or possible exposure.

Stay safe and informed πŸ’™

🦷 Have your say on access to dental services in the area🦷

We are looking for feedback and comments regarding access to NHS dental services in the area.

If you have used an NHS dentist in the past two years, or want to access one, we want to hear from you.

We are looking at ways we can improve NHS dental access for people living on the Fylde Coast and your feedback will support this.

πŸ’œ March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in the UK

This March the national campaign is to raise awareness of symptoms and support the approximately 7,400–7,500 women diagnosed every year.

If you’re worried about ovarian cancer, remember the B.E.A.T. signs:

πŸ”Ή Bloating that doesn’t go away
πŸ”Ή Eating less / feeling full quickly
πŸ”Ή Abdominal or tummy pain
πŸ”Ή Toilet changes (needing to wee more often)

If you notice any of these symptoms persisting, speak to a GP. Trust your instincts β€” you know your body best. πŸ’œ

For confidential information, support, or signposting, contact Target Ovarian Cancer’s nurse-led support line:
