📣🩸Blood test update🩸📣

If you have had blood tests requested as part of a hospital appointment, these will need to be carried out at the hospital.
We will now be prioritising blood tests that have been requested by your GP.
We will no longer be able to routinely carry out blood tests requested by hospital departments.

If you are needing to arrange a blood test prior to a hospital appointment, you can also call:
-The Community Phlebotomy Service on 01253 956719, which is open weekdays from 09:30am-11:50 & 12:45pm-16:30pm.
-Blackpool Urgent Treatment Centre which is open from 08:30am-17:30pm on a walk in basis. If you have any queries for this service you should call 01253 953953.

The practice will be closed for Easter on the following dates:
18th April - Good Friday
19th April - Saturday
20th April - Sunday
21st April - Easter Monday

Please note clinical requests will not be able to be submitted via Patchs during this period until we re-open. Patients will still be able to order prescriptions and submit admin requests via Patchs, however these will not be actioned until we re-open on Tuesday 22nd April at 8am.

You can also find out more about PATCHS and the benefits of using this new tool, before the system goes fully live on Monday 31st March 2025 🙌

Please note - as these are drop in sessions we are unable to predict how busy they will be, however our fantastic team will be working hard to ensure you are seen as quickly as possible😀
