Incredibly excited to share that I am moving my therapy room to a beautiful space in Coltishall as of the 23rd Feb 26 and I cannot wait!

A few weeks ago I posted that we had something exciting coming to the The Ink Room and here it is!!!

Meet Hayley, the newest addition to our tribe ❤️

With over 5 years of experience Hayley predominantly works with individuals who are struggling to come to terms with grief but also with people who are struggling with life’s overwhelms, stresses and anxieties
She offers a safe supportive space to help you heal, connect and rediscover.

When I opened The Ink Room at Coltishall I knew I wanted it to be a little hub that can not only help people feel great about their appearance, their bodies and their confidence but also be a place that can help them mentally
As someone who has struggled with all these areas in the past (and sometimes continue to do so, as let’s face it healing is a process) I can personally vouch for Hayley as I have previously used her services

Our Roots to Wellbeing community hub is free to access for those experiencing challenges such as stress, anxiety, loneliness, grief, lack of confidence or purpose, as well as financial hardship.

We run it one Saturday a month 2-5pm

You can try various group classes such as yoga, pilates, dance, meditation, breathwork & mindfulness, plus 1:1 taster treatments such as reflexology, acupuncture & shiatsu.

You can also enjoy arts & crafts, community chats & refreshments.

Proud to have this certificate after completing a course with David Kessler, one of the worlds foremost experts on Grief and Loss.

It was a honour to learn amongst people from all over the world, and from someone who has spent over 20 years writing and teaching in this field.

No matter how much you know, there’s always so much more to discover and I’m grateful to have had this opportunity to learn with one of the best!

I sit down to write this feeling all kinds of emotion. Sadness for the loss of someones mother, grandmother, great grandmother, family member, friend. The collective sadness of the country as we start to come together to remember a treasured life. It’s a confusion of emotions as I also begin to remember the loved ones I have lost and the loved ones others have lost and somehow the feelings of sadness are becoming entwined. We will be surrounded by big and significant emotions for a number of weeks and we cannot truly know or appreciate the feelings this can invoke in others. It’s a reminder to go gentle in grief, both with myself and with others. Take care of you.

An absolutely gorgeous netwalk today with Izzy from The Space Burston and Hayley from The Stable Space.

We delved deep into our dreams for our businesses, discussed how we wish to make them more accessible and affordable and explored how, by harnessing the power of community, this could be achieved.

I love these walks so much!

Incredibly privileged this weekend to have been invited to run a workshop for Totally Flawed in Tottenham as part of their Offbeat course - Beating Anxiety through Drumming.

Such a brilliant idea - in a course split over 3 weekends, participants take part in an introductory drumming workshop designed to help balance, manage anxiety, gain energy and confidence and feel grounded through group drumming lessons co-led by a professional drummer and a trained therapist.

An absolute delight to meet such a wonderful group of people in such a unique environment and I look forward to joining them again in 2022! 💕💕
