We're in that weird limbo state this week just waiting for things to get just a little bit bonkers but very exciting!
We are, without a doubt, counting down the days until we get the keys (Sunday for those of you keeping track!). After 2+ years it feels like it's taken forever to get here, but also like the day is hurtling towards us incredibly fast and we've not even finalised a paint colour yet!
This week is all about balance and prep. We're trying to get ahead on other work, make some decisions about fitments and colours, prep some meals for long days ahead... But also have a little down time before it all gets very busy!
This morning was spent following up on some calls, getting a bit of admin done and heading out for a (very very windy!) dog walk. Now time to settle down for some designing and some freelance work... Before home to cook, do the next coat on our paint sample swatches and then some reading in bed.
Talking of reading, this absolutely stunning proof arrived this week, which as Emily is 50% of the way through On Wings of Blood, the timing of this arriving could not have been more perfect. Anyone else low key obsessed with Bloodwing Academy?!
